Applying to Volunteer

If you are interested in volunteering at the library, please see all of the documents below. There are three in total- the volunteer policy, the volunteer application, and the volunteer confidentiality agreement. Please read all three documents before submitting any application. Completed applications/agreements may be submitted in person to the library.

Applicants are to watch the harassment-prevention training video below and then answer the questions on the PDF. Once completed, the answer sheet must be emailed, mailed, or hand-delivered to the library manager as verification that they completed the training. Their answer sheets will be kept with their volunteer application.

If an applicant has completed harassment-prevention training through their employer within the previous 12 months, they do not need to complete the library’s training again. Documentation from their employer verifying completion of the training will be accepted in place of the answer sheet.
