We’re finally into May, and boy do we have a month of fun planned for our library friends! Be sure to mark your calendars for these special events! Teen Crafternoon – Pressed Flower Bookmarks
May 3rd, 12pm
Make a pretty and personalized bookmark for yourself or someone you know! We will show you how to use an assortment of dried flowers and greenery. This event is made and prepared with teens in mind, but anyone is welcome to participate!
Crafternoon – Flower Seeds in Painted Pots
May 10th, 12pm
Paint a pot with wonderful colors, then watch the colors bloom out! Paint your pot however you like, then choose a flower seed to plant inside. Enjoy a storytime as you paint your pot! This is event is for all ages- everyone is encouraged to give it a try!
Paint with Andrew
May 16th, 4pm
Learn to paint with Andrew Torino! This is a regularly occurring event for kids and teens. Spots are limited, so RSVP in advance! For more information, view this post.
Family Movie – Matilda
May 17th, 1pm
Join us for the classic film Matilda! This family-friendly film has a runtime of 1 hour, 57 minutes. Complementary popcorn will be available.
Kids Crafternoon – Bird Houses
May 24th, 12pm
Kids will have a chance to paint a birdhouse that they will get to bring home! Enjoy a storytime to match the activity. One birdhouse per person.
Crafternoon – Bird Feeders
May 31st, 12pm
Make your own suet birdfeeder! Suet feeders are seeds molded together and hung by a wire, so be prepared to work with seeds, gelatin, and a mold! This event is is for all ages.
