PUBLIC NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR
PROPOSAL
ROCKWELL FALLS PUBLIC LIBRARY

Request for Proposals are sought and requested by the Rockwell Falls Public Library
for the following: GROUNDSKEEPER SERVICES, LANDSCAPING SERVICES, and
EXTERIOR CLEANING OF THE BUILDING.
Copies of the Request for Proposal(RFP) may be obtained by contacting: Marion
Allan, Library Manager at marionallan.rfpl@gmail.com. They will also be available on
our website https://rockwellfalls.sals.edu/
Bids will be received until Tuesday July 2, 2024 at 3:00 pm, CURRENT TIME at the
Rockwell Falls Public Library, 19 Main Street, Lake Luzerne, New York, at the above
address, at which time they will be publicly acknowledged as received. Any proposal
received after the designated time will not be considered and shall be returned to the
bidder unopened.
No proposal shall be considered unless a copy of the proposal documents has
been obtained from the Rockwell Falls Public Library located at the address above
(or printed directly from https://rockwellfalls.sals.edu/)and included with any bid
proposal. All bids must be notated on the outside of the envelope what the bid is for.
The bidder assumes the risk of any delay in the mail or in the handling of mail by
employees of the Rockwell Falls Public Library and its Board of Trustees. Whether
sent by mail or by means of personal delivery, the bidder assumes the responsibility
for having his bid in on time at the Rockwell Falls Public Library.
The Rockwell Falls Public Library reserves the right to reject any and all proposals
received in response to the RFP, to select a proposal other than the proposal offering
the lowest price, to waive or modify irregularities in proposals received and to
negotiate with any applicant whose proposal is deemed acceptable through the
evaluation criteria. The RFP does not commit the The Rockwell Falls Public Library
to award a contract, pay any cost incurred in the preparation of a proposal in
response to this RFP, or to contract for services.
