Take in the scenic views of one of the most beautiful areas in the
foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. Visit historic sites and
markers throughout the area from the comfort of your vehicle
and/or take a stroll on foot. The pocket-sized, color tour map is
designed as a loop highlighting historic sites and markers
throughout the two towns. You can start and stop at any point
during the three mile tour loop.
This is a family-friendly event. There will be a scavenger hunt,
and a free trail mix and water available. Maps may be picked up
at the Kinnear Museum of Local History, located at 52 Main St. in
Lake Luzerne or at the Hadley/Luzerne Railroad Station, 4113
Rockwell St, Hadley. The free tour map will also be distributed
around the area after Aug. 30.
